See more here - https://goo.gl/xZm6Ey Talented musicians from across the continent have performed live on the KWV Sound Stage; and this October we're bringing you the smooth authentic Afro soul sounds of Wandile Mbambeni, a singer/songwriter who is comfortable in both English and his native Xhosa tongue! Wandile Mbambeni, based in Cape Town, was originally from the Eastern Cape where was born the youngest of three brothers in the rural Transkei. He was formerly known as the Border Bulldogs scrumhalf. As the only musically minded individual in his family, he continued to embrace his rugby skills - until the age of 17; when his aunt bought him his first guitar. The rest is history; as the 21-year old is now moving to a new rhythm - launching his career as a singer/songwriter. Wandile has shared the stage with the likes of Matthew Mole, Michael Lowman, Howie Combrink, Shortstraw, Prime Circle, Tailor, Majozi, Red Tape Riot and Veranda Panda to name a few and has the credentials and the talent to keep you entertained for a sizzlin' summer day in the bay! Join us at KWV Sound Stage, Saturday 17 October from 13.00-15.00 to hear Wandile's magic! Entry? Free!
