Newtown Juction's Cape Malay Experience
Newtown Junction together with the Malay community invites the whole of Joburg to a day of experiencing the Malay culture.
A gathering of people curious about this colorful community, an array of traditional foods on sale, feeding into the storyline, a public broadcast to the larger community in Cape Town and a buy in from businesses to aid entrepreneurs in this community. We aim to showcase an event that will set the pace for future, minor cultural communities in crossing religious and cultural boundaries.
