10th International Oriental Dance Festival
Beauty, grace, a touch of mystique and performing art - Oriental Dance!
You can experience it all at the 10th International Oriental (Belly) Dance Festival in Cape Town 23-25 October 2015, the annual charity event in aid of The Saartjie Baartman Centre for (abused) Women and Children in Athlone.

Friday, 23 October 2015:
The CIAD (Confederación Interamericana de la Danza) International Oriental Dance competition will be held at the Michael Oak Large Hall in Kenilworth from 12:00 until 4.00pm.
The opening gala evening takes place at the Michael Oak Large Hall in Kenilworth at 8pm where you can enjoy performances by professional international and South African oriental dancers.

Saturday, 24 October 2015:
Workshop day where you can learn from the world's best oriental dance teachers.
Venue: Protea Hotel Sea Point, Arthur's Road, Sea Point, Cape Town
Sunday, 25 October 2015:
Fringe Program at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre. There are hundreds of belly dancers, from beginners to master level; from all over the world performing. Performances begin at 10.00am and finish at 6pm, both days.
There is also a Bazaar where you can buy dancing accessories, jewellery, costumes, food and much more presented by small businesses from South Africa
