Africa Finance & Investment Forum 2015

The Africa Finance & Investment Forum (AFIF) is an annual business platform initiated in the framework of EMRC international activities, aimed at strengthening Africa's private sector and attracting investment to the continent. Initiated over a dozen years ago in Brussels, AFIF has been held in Europe: Cologne, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Geneva, Lisbon and Paris.

EMRC will bring for the first time the annual finance and investment event to Africa's financial hub, South Africa. AFIF 2015 will take place in Cape Town from 24 to 26 November 2015 and will be preceded by a one day training/workshop on entrepreneurship.

This year's edition is organised in collaboration with EIB (European Investment Bank), DEG (German Development Finance Institution), Rabobank and in partnership with OLD MUTUAL Investment Group, ECOWAS-TEN, Agri Academy (South Africa), Pfizer, BlueCloud (United Kingdom), ICD (Islamic Development Bank) and IFC (Intl. Finance Corporation, World Bank). Other groups are currently being invited to take part.

Among the already confirmed key note speakers there will be Lord Paul Boateng, former British High Commissioner to South Africa (2005-2009).
