Heritage Concert and Art Exhibition

The UP Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and the UP-CIU Cochlear Implant Unit in collaboration with the Steve Biko Academic Hospital, in the heart of Pretoria will join forces to present a variety of artists, musicians and dancers, from TUKS Dance (among others) in a heritage concert event at the University of Pretoria, Brooklyn Campus on Sunday, 27 September..

As we commemorate our rich cultural legacy, the epicenter of heritage will come alive in September and more significantly so because it's National Deafness Awareness Month.
A superb quality arts and exquisite crafts exhibition - in collaboration with the UP Arts Faculty, will open at 12 noon (before the concert) on the same day, at the Rautenbach Hall and will then move- and continue to the Villa Museum; until Friday 2nd of October where it will be concluded with a wine tasting occasion from 18h30 to 21h00.

The proceeds of the entire event will benefit and fund cochlear implants to hearing impaired and cornea transplants to visual impaired people in South Africa.
The art and crafts, snacks and memorabilia will be for sale all to aid the funding of life-changing medical interventions to restore these two vital senses but primarily to create hearing awareness and caring for your hearing to everyone attending the concert and art event.
Concert tickets are available the Ticketpro webpage and at all PostNet, Edgars and Jets Store outlets nationwide. You can also print your own ticket at home, bring it along to the event to be scanned at the door.
