A celebration of Africa, showcasing and exposing the beauty, diversity and heritage of the countries that make up the continent, Africa.
The Annual African Lifestyle and Heritage Festival will be held at the Dries Niemandt Park, Kempton Park in Ekurhuleni from 18 to 20 September 2015.
The purpose is to showcase and expose the beauty, diversity and ethnicity of each of the countries on the African continent. The event aims to educate people about African cuisine, music, fashion, literature and arts ultimately to cultivate a sense unity within the continent.
The African Lifestyle and Heritage Festival seeks to create a platform for Africans to sell their products.
Visitors will be able to "tour" the continent in the park. They will taste the food from different parts of the continent, enjoy the music, buy art and try some latest fashion pieces all in day.
Exhibitors will showcase latest trends from all over Africa. All products on show and on sale will be designed and produced in this continent. It will be a celebration of the Africa of the past meeting the new bold and youthful Africa.
Activities include chef demonstrations, Kizomba Dance, live music entertainment, kids playground, literature shows and many more.
