4th South African CCS Conference

The South African Centre for Carbon Capture & Storage (SACCCS) would like to invite you to attend the 4th South African Carbon Capture and Storage Conference organised by SACCCS in conjunction with the Department of Energy, which is slated to hold from 20 - 21 October 2015 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The theme of the conference is "Capacitating South Africa for CCS".

The Minister of Energy Ms. Tina Joematt-Pettersen has been invited to officially open the conference on 20 October 2015. The acting director general for energy has been invited to deliver a keynote address on the second day, 21 October 2015. This conference will discuss local and international CCS achievements as well as technical gaps in South Africa and how these can be addressed as the country moves towards the implementation of its first Pilot CO2 Storage Project.
