The Asterisk Community Conference Africa 2016

This two-day event seeks to promote Asterisk in Africa by bringing together local experts and international guests from the cutting edge of Asterisk development and integration.

The 2016 Asterisk Community Conference and Expo will be held at The Maslow Hotel in Sandton on 16 and 17 February. This two-day event seeks to promote Asterisk in Africa by bringing together local experts and international guests from the cutting edge of Asterisk development and integration.

Day 1 of the conference will be devoted to formal and informal training including the Asterisk 1-2-3 course, dCAP exam sessions, technical workshops and offer opportunities to meet industry experts.

Day 2 will highlight the development of Asterisk and its future in telephony with key-note addresses and product development sessions presented by industry leaders.

VIP guests will include David Duffet and Melissa Shepherd of Digium. David will MC the event and offer the keynote address. On Day 1, Melissa will host the Asterisk 1-2-3 training course (a condensed version of the Asterisk Fast Start course) for all those new to Asterisk or wanting to learn more.

Industry experts such as Matt Florrel of ViciDial, Lorenzo Emilitri of Loway and Diego Gosmar of xCally have been invited to give insight into their products and how they can enhance an Asterisk telephony solution.

The expo will provide unprecedented opportunities for providers to showcase Asterisk-related products to peers and potential customers. Exhibitors will be able to choose from a range of packages.
