Business communication

A very practical and unique course designed to improve your communication skills, particularly that of writing.

Quo Vadis Communications is well known for its courses covering a diverse range of subjects from stakeholder relations to radio and television scriptwriting to organisational and business communications. It has successfully presented the latter for more than 30 years.

The Business Communication course, held in Johannesburg, takes place over two periods of time to allow candidates to complete assignments. Candidates must be prepared to participate fully in class. A strong emphasis is placed on experiential learning.

At the end of the course you will be able to:

- Write creatively and for a number of genres;
- Do basic editing and understand the pitfalls of proofreading;
- Understand and apply basic principles of mass communication;
- Compile news reports and media releases;
- Conduct and write up an interview;
- Liaise with the media; and
- Fulfil general organisational communication needs.

Participants have, without exception, responded positively to the course. The courses have attracted delegates from all parts of Southern Africa.

Dates for the course are as follows:

1st session: 26 to 28 August 2015 and
2nd session: 14 to 16 September 2015

Both sessions must be attended in order to pass the course. If applicants have completed all the assignments, a certificate will be issued.
