Occupational health and safety
In this workshop we will deal with occupational health and safety risks, who is the employer, duties and responsibilities of the employer, safety representatives and their functions and investigations.
The last part will deal with managing risk and the impact of the amended Construction Regulations that came into effect in August 2014. The Occupational Health and Safety Act is applicable to all employers and it is imperative that employers are aware of the changes, the risks and consequences of non-compliance. The speaker will be Cecil Berkhout.
