Business leaders Lindani Dhlamini and Andile KhumaBusiness leaders Lindani Dhlamini and Andile Khumalo talk about normalising black entrepreneurship. The chartered accountant profession is highly regarded, yet of 37,900 registered chartered accountants in the country, only are 3,300 are black. SekelaXabiso CEO, Lindani Dhlamini will be speaking at Regenesys on June 30 about this and normalising black entrepreneurship. The private sector has been slow in embracing the spirit of BBBEEE legislation, Dhlamini has found. "Young black entrepreneurs need to clearly articulate the value they are bringing to the client and be able to demonstrate how the service or product they are selling will enhance or assist in meeting its business objectives," she advises. The talk will also focus on what need to be done to better the status quo. "Competition is good for the citizens of South Africa and we cannot have an economy that is dominated by a few big players." She will be joined by Andile Khumalo, the MD of Power 98.7FM and a former president of the Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants of SA.
