Fiscal Decentralisation & sub-national Government

In this course an African context is applied to: the policy and practical issues to be considered in the context of fiscal decentralisation; expenditure and revenue assignment; intergovernmental transfers; capital financing, borrowing and debt; appropriate sources of revenue for subnational government; and policy and administrative issues regarding property tax as a source of revenue. (Entry to course is subject to selection and approval.)

Learning outcomes:

Entry requirements:
A post-matric qualification and sufficient work experience may be considered in the absence of a B-degree.
