Afreakan Dream

The Afreakan Dream summit is a one day event which will get together young global citizens, thought leaders, African think tanks, entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, government, corporate South Africa and civil society under one roof to initiate a dialogue to define and shape "the african dream".

The African dream seems like an elusive and vague idea, no one really knows what the African dream is - this poses serius challenges and dire consequenses which impedes growth and socio economic and political stability in the continent. With the premise "the American dream" is well known and clearly defined, Africa needs same.

Shaping The African Dream, aims to highlight the potential of the continent, growth opportunities, the diversity and richness that makes us a unique continent with huge possibillities ( only if we take advantage of them in a strategic one Vision goal).

The summit is the first of the series of dialogues that will take place throughout the African continent. The Afreakan dream movement will elect a group of South Africans to travel with to selected African countries to continue this dialogue in pursuit of the common African dream.
