NDP-Vision 2030 Summit
The NDP-Vision2030 Summit focuses on unpacking key aspects around Vision 2030 and how key organisations and individuals can contribute to make it a reality.
Therefore members of the Presidency, key government dignitaries and private sector leaders have been invited to share insights, and engage and discuss the vision for the National Development Plan. On behalf of Topco Media, the organisers of the Summit, I would like to invite you, the media, to attend. The Summit will take place from 17 - 18 June 2015 at Emperors Palace, Gauteng.
The following ministers have confirmed to speak at the summit:

Nathi Mthethwa, Minister, Department of Arts and Culture

Tom Moyane, SARS Commissioner
Edna Molewa, Minister of Environmental Affairs
Faith Muthambi, Minister of Communications
Rob Davies, Minister Trade and Industry
Nkosinathi Nhleko, Minister of Police
But the NDP was never meant to be a government document. It was drawn up by a group of independent experts - including some of the brightest minds in the country - and it is probably one of the first documents in history which has the support of almost all the major political parties and various civil society formations.
The NDP-Vision 2030 Summit has been fully endorsed by the National Planning Commission Secretariat and will include inputs from several of the original commissioners who drew up the NDP.
It will be the first time that a gathering of this nature takes place where government, business and civil society representatives - including several ministers and DGs - get together in such numbers to talk about the implementation of the NDP.
