GrandWest gets learners ready for school

As part of its CSI, the GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World embarked on a school stationery project for disadvantaged learners at the Easter Peak Primary School in Manenberg. Learners were presented with their new stationery as the new academic year began arming the Easter Peak learners with their required tools to take on some learning.

Volunteers from GrandWest and concessionaires at the property, as well as SHAWCO Health (the University of Cape Town's Students' Health and Welfare Centres Organisation), councillor Clive Justus and his team from the Goodwood ward and the Elim Night Shelter had helped to pack stationery into at least 240 shoeboxes.
