Social media communications management

Social media communications management covers the insight and strategy based communications needed in social media. The course covers everything from the basics like choosing the correct platform for your brand, to the more complicated subjects like creating a response matrix. The course is perfect for anyone interested in online reputation management, or anyone involved in managing the social profile of a brand, be it a company or a personal project.

Prerequisites:
- National Senior Certificate (Matric).
- Computer literacy
- An interest in and basic knowledge of social media

About the lecturer:
Wade Mouton has a background in traditional media as an art director, but has spent the last seven years exploring and working in the digital field. He has done everything from blogging, to live tweeting for some of the biggest brands in South Africa, and has even tweeted it up with rock stars like Shadow Club. He is currently a communication specialist, and has been involved with brands like Nissan, Nike, Vodacom, Mini, and Mountain Dew, among others.
