Casting call for SA's first global supermodel search

The search is on for the Joy Star Model SA - a new kind of modeling competition - with casting taking place countrywide in October.

The winner of this competition will immediately be elevated into the international modeling arena backed by John Casablancas, who founded the world famous Elite agency network, discovered and managed supermodels like Heidi Klum and Cindy Crawford, and is now the founder and co-owner of one of the world's most sophisticated international model scouting systems known as Joy Star System.

Casablancas' goal is to discover new and exceptional modeling talent around the world, help launch their international modeling careers and develop the next generation of supermodels. He is very aware of South Africa's modeling potential which is reflected in SA's rich cultural diversity and ethnic multiplicity, and it is for this reason that he wishes to find South Africa's first global supermodel.

The winner will be selected at the finals in November.
