TITIIC 2015

Remaking South Africa's capital city through promotion of trade and infrastructure investment.

The fifth installment of TITIIC builds on the successes registered in the past where we have had important interactions with developers, investors and entrepreneurs from across South Africa and beyond our borders. We have taken important lessons from those meetings and interactions to develop a programme and product offerings that will certainly meet expectations of our diverse and dynamic stakeholders. This conference seeks to address the City's vision 2055 outcomes which respond to building: A resilient and resource efficient City, A growing economy that is inclusive, diversified and competitive.

A lot of work has been undertaken by a team of experts to package projects that will appeal to investors in real estate, automotive sector, green economy, infrastructure, aerospace and defense, manufacturing, agriculture and agro-processing.

A stellar cast of speakers will introduce these opportunities to a plenary of high profile delegates selected from Sub-Saharan Africa and abroad. Delegates interested in approaching these issues in greater detail will have the opportunity to attend a series of facilitated sessions dedicated to maximising Tshwane's investment potential from a variety of practical and professional standpoints.

Delegates will be exposed in depth to the scale of opportunities that Tshwane presents, including exports, development opportunities of economically important sectors, investment incentives, bankable projects, strategic land parcels and value-added goods and services. Moreover, delegates will be informed of the best means of accessing these opportunities, and introduced to the key decision-makers in the City of Tshwane and the Tshwane private sector who can facilitate the process. In addition invaluable business-to business linkages will be formed. These contacts will serve to assist in the achievement of the objectives outlined in the Tshwane Investment Attraction, Facilitation and Aftercare Plan (2011-2016), as well as other initiatives in which the City of Tshwane is involved, such as Spatial Development Network and the Alternative Service Delivery Programme.
