Vivienne Simchowitz and Eric Omba

Viv Sun was born in Johannesburg and was strongly influenced by the Jazz improvisational music coming out of Soweta in the Seventies. She lived and performed abroad for 30 years exploring World Music, Latin music and Jazz Fusion music. She began playing music with Tim Parr and Madala Kunene soon after returning to live in Cape Town.
Eric Omba originally, from the Conga, plays guitar and sings in French. Viv and Eric perform original songs including Latin Congaleze, Cuban and Reggae music.
