Stakeholder relationship management
Practitioners who seeks to gain a better understanding of stakeholder relationship management.
This three-day short course covers the fundamentals and latest thinking in stakeholder relationship management covering the areas of stakeholder engagement and the governing of stakeholder relationship management. The implications of the King III Report for Governance and corporate governance in general are outlined.
The first day of the course provides the learner with knowledge of stakeholder analysis techniques, the gathering, assessing and integrating of information, issue management, stakeholder and risk management, stakeholder relationship management plans and communication management. Furthermore, the course is practical in nature and the last two days are aligned with the unit standard: manage stakeholder relations on a project (ID number 243815).
Programme outcomes:
1. Identify key stakeholders of the project.
2. Compile a stakeholder relationship management plan.
3. Implement the stakeholder relationship management plan.
4. Evaluate the effectiveness of key stakeholder's involvement in the project.
5. Structure of the course.
The programme is concluded with a practical workplace based assignment.
•The short course is endorsed by PRISA (Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa).
•PRISA cpd points are allocated to PRISA members.
•Provox is the preferred endorsed service provider for PRISA.
•Provox is provisionally accredited by the Services SETA.
•Even though the short course is aligned with the above unit standard (US 243815), it is not registered with the Services SETA.
