Renewal of community sound broadcasting licences
The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa has decided to renew the following eight community sound broadcasting licences: Barberton Community Radio, Kangala Community Radio, Mosupatsela Community Radio, Moutse Community Radio, Qwa-Qwa Community Radio, Radio Rosestad, Setsotho Community Radio and Univen Community Radio.
The Authority took a decision to conduct hearings in respect of the following renewal applications: Bushbuckridge Community Radio, Radio Kaboesna, Lentswe Stereo, Radio Panorama, Radio Turf and Radio Teemaneng. The hearings will be conducted during the week of 12 to 16 July 2004.
