River Fest 2014
This day-night electronic outdoor dance music festival- over the full moon - features some of SA's top DJs and electro bands, in the most sublime riverside setting. With world-class sound architecture, production and décor; festival-goers will experience the music and the beautiful venue from all aspects of the spectrum.
The lush sounds match the equally luscious scenery of the banks of the Berg River. Expect cutting-edge beats from slick and groovy, Tech House and Deep House to layered and textured Balkan, Electric Swing and Electro, to Dubstep and Drum and Bass.
Not just an aural feast, but a visual one too, from video mapping nd full blown lighting shows to jumping castles, water slides, an inflatable island floating on the river, and more.
High-end drinks will be available, such as premium spirits and bubbly as well as ice cold beers and buckets of cocktails. Food trucks will be on-site offering a variety of menus that promise to sate both meat-eaters and vegetarians.
From music, to drinks, water toys and more, River Fest has done the thinking for you. All you need to do is set up camp in the spectacular surrounds, and don't forget to bring swimming gear to take advantage of the incredible Berg River. Bikinis are a must, clothing is optional.

From Cape Town:
• Take the N1 out of Cape Town, heading in the direction of Paarl.
• Take the Stellenbosch/Wellington off ramp.
• Turn left in the direction of Wellington (R44).
• Drive straight with the R44 into Wellington.
• At the first traffic light in Wellington turn left (R44 Porterville).
• Drive straight for approximately 45km, passing Hermon.
• Take the turn-off to the left (R44 Gouda/ Porterville).
• Drive for approximately 11km heading towards Porterville.
• Turn left when you see the Buffalo Drift sign board.
• Come through the gates and follow the signs.
