National Youth Orchestra, 50th Birthday Concert with Barbara Hendricks (USA)
The National Youth Orchestra is celebrating its 50th birthday with a selection of music ranging from classical favourites to jazz greats. The concert features top international and local guest artists including world famous Barbara Hendricks, Grammy Award winning saxophonist Magnus Lindgren, Standard Bank Young Artist bass guitarist Concord Nkabinde, and sensational local drummer Rob Watson. The orchestra will be conducted by one of Europe's top young conductors, Fredrik Burstedt.
