Applications for PGDip Economics Journalism

The South African Reserve Bank Centre for Economics Journalism at Rhodes School of Journalism is now accepting applications for the PG Dip EJ course of 2015. The course is part-time for all working journalists who would like to gain more insight and knowledge in the economics journalism field.

To apply for the Post Graduate Diploma in Economics Journalism you need to be employed in a news media organisation, or have been employed in a news media organisation. The course assumes knowledge about journalism practice, so it would be difficult if not impossible to do it without experience.

You do not need to have any specialised qualification to do the PgDip EJ, besides a recognised first degree. In some cases a sufficient level of prior learning will be regarded as sufficient for you to be accepted for this Post Graduate Diploma, but a first degree is preferred.
