Nappy Run
Nappy Run is an annual national campaign to raise awareness and educate the South African public about our country's children with disabilities and the conditions they face.
It is a 5km fun run (walk, stroll or roll on wheels) at the Johannesburg Zoo held by the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPPDSA) on National Children's Day to raise awareness of the needs of children with disabilities and raise funds to collect disposable nappies to be donated to non-governmental organisations, orphanages, shelters and families in need. Participants ideally wear a nappy in a creative way.
The entry fee allows participants to spend the whole day in the Johannesburg Zoo.
