NXTGen Coders Conference
The inaugural NxtGen Coders Conference invites Grade 9-11 learners from the Cape metro to learn more about software development and the ITC industry. Speakers will among others focus on how technology can help solve community problems, hoping to inspire delegates to make a difference in their communities.
Learners can book their complimentary seats by forming groups of three to five members and sending their answers to the following to questions to the event organiser at moc.acirfahtuosphp@akesapam
1.) Why does your group deserve to attend the conference?
2.) What comes to mind when you hear the words "Information Technology"?
Learners will be introduced to PHP and UX and will learn more about building WordPress websites, robotics and gaming. All group members have to be able to attend the conference on the same day - either Friday, 3 October or Saturday, 4 October and learners will be picked up and dropped off.
Learners will each receive a swag bag and will be treated to lunch and refreshments.
