What we will do
We will create an Android app Twitter clone. Our app will connect to our backend servers hosted in the cloud. You will be able to import and use third part libraries, run code asynchronously and designing effective UIs. By the end of the course you should be able to :
Design and develop Android apps with compelling UIs
Understand how Android apps work, their life cycle, xml configuration, intents, and using resources
Use Android's Application Framework API to build complex applications
Utilise the power of background services, threads and notifications
Use Android's communication API's from SMS, telephony, network management, and internet resources(HTTP)
Secure, tune, package, and deploy Android applications
