‘Our Kids of the Cape’ Fundraising Golf Day
On 21 October 2014, the Petousis Group of Hotels - Vineyard Hotel, Townhouse Hotel and Oude Werf - will be hosting an action-packed Fundraising Golf Day at the King David Golf Club in Cape Town in aid of their 'Our Kids of the Cape' social responsibility fund.
'Our Kids of the Cape' was established in March 2007 by the three hotels, and at the golf day in 2013, a total of R165,000 was raised for this charity. These proceeds went directly to assisting local community projects supported by the 'Our Kids of the Cape' fund, including projects across education, health, HIV/Aids and feeding schemes for local children.
This year's Fundraising Golf Day begins with a shotgun start at 12h30, a four-ball alliance, (two scores to count) and some exciting prizes and goodies bags. Golfers can also enjoy the halfway house as well as a fabulous dinner and auction in the evening. The guest speaker at this year's event is one of South Africa's favourite DJs, Ryan O'Connor.
Following the resounding success of previous events, there has already been a great response from players, and keen golfers are encouraged to book their four-ball early to avoid disappointment.
