1st Annual Ekurhuleni Fashion Week

Preparations are underway for MF Skills Brands 1st Annual Ekurhuleni Fashion Week being hosted at the Popular Ekurhuleni hangout spot Hurricanes in Katlehong on Sunday, 12 October 2014. The red carpet will start promptly at 1pm followed by the show set to begin at 2 pm. Starring young local fashion designers and models, the street fashion show is anticipated to bring out the elite of Ekurhuleni and Johannesburg.

In a continuous effort to increase brand exposure for local emerging fashion talent and businesses, Fashion Show Producer, Nomfundo Nkosi, states, "I have high expectations for this show. With this year's concept, I plan to see trendy, fierce, high fashion, Pop-up stores, wine tasting, over the top designs on the runway and outfits from people in attendance, I am looking forward to working with local businesses to help expose their brands to those in attendance."

Sponsored by Etouch Communications, the event will showcase fashions from designers throughout the Ekurhuleni and Gauteng. Nomfundo Nkosi says they would like to invite Young Designers to come and participate in the event and showcase their latest Spring/Summer Collections.
