Two of the country's most exciting female jazz singers will join forces to wow Jozi for a once-off event at the up-coming Lion of Africa Music Expressions on Friday 1 August.
Zamajobe, who earlier this year earned nominations at both the SAMA and Metro FM Awards for Thula Mntwana, the album she released in October 2013, will grace the stage alongside Afro-Soul singer, Ndoh Dlamini whose collaboration with American soul-rock singer, Michael Bolton on a cover version of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's "Ain't Nothing like the Real Thing," will soon be heard on Bolton's next album. She was one of two artists Bolton chose from a list given to him by her record label Sony Music Africa. The song is on its way to the US for final mixing.
Zamajobe and Ndoh will be performing at the Lion of Africa Music Expressions series, a series sponsored by corporate short-term insurance company, Lion of Africa, as part of the company's on-going commitment to shine a spotlight on the exceptional local musical talent available in South Africa.
