Course content in a nutshell:
1. Fundamentals of photography - photo science, light and exposure, the golden formula.
2. The digital camera - features, buttons, settings and creative control.
3. Lens technology and technique - lens characteristics and selection; depth of field
4. Electronic flashlight/strobe - on-camera flashes and studio lighting
5. Digital platform for photography - RAW and file extensions, Adobe Lightroom
6. History of photography as art with emphasis on the creative photographer as artist- creative filters and in-camera manipulation
7. Macro and close-up photography - science, flash/strobe, specialised lenses
8. Fashion photography - creative glamour and fashion, portraiture, styling
9. Photojournalism - practice, equipment, techniques, ethics
10. Digital printing technology processes
