Overview
Personal networking is a 'critical success factor' in achieving our goals. To become the 'person of choice', the 'business or choice' or the 'firm of choice' we need to build positive relationships as we all prefer to deal with people we know and trust. Building our 'one-on-one' networking skills and understanding how we build, sustain and use our personal network can help us to do that more effectively. This workshop is about improving our personal interaction with others and does not include social media networking.
As a result of participating effectively in this workshop, you will be able to:
• Understand 'the person of choice', 'team of choice' and 'organisation of choice.'
• Treat networking as a process - and not as a transaction.
• Understand the power of the 'what can I do to help you?' approach.
• Harness the power of collective networking.
• Recognise and optimise opportunities for connecting: People with people. People with information. People with opportunities.
• Strategically build stronger personal and business networks.
• Know how to set up simple, sustainable programmes encompassing the entire organisation, regardless of size.
• Know and practise simple techniques for building stronger relationships.
• Improve the skills necessary in order to be a better networker.
• Hold quality conversations inter-personally and between organisations.
