The great Oubaai bake off fundraiser

The Great Oubaai Bake Off will take place in and around the Regency Ballroom at Hyatt Regency Oubaai Resort and Spa on Saturday, 28 of June.
There are two categories namely cakes and tarts. Entry fee is R50 per person and all the proceeds of this event will go to the Carpe Diem school. Carpe Diem school caters for children with disabilities and special needs.

The Great Oubaai Bake Off judging will start at 10:00. So be sure to come early to register and enter your cake or tart. There will be a first, second and third place in each category - cakes and tarts. Then there will be one overall winner!

Judging will be done by the executive chef and pastry chef of Hyatt Regency Oubaai Resort and Spa.
Then we have guest judge, Marius Uys, from kykNet's Kokkedoor show.

Marius Uys is the "Onthoukok" from kykNet's Kokkedoor Season 1. He is from Gordon's Bay and works in the Travel and Tourism industry.
There will be lots of prizes up for grabs including cash prizes, accommodation, spa and golf prizes.

So get baking and eat cake too. To raise extra money for Carpe Diem we will be selling off the cakes once they have been judged. Coffee and tea will also be for sale on the day.
