Father's day surprise
Families are invited to surprise their much-loved fathers - and grandfathers! - with exactly what a man's heart desires at the Vineyard Hotel on Father's Day.
Dad will be able to tuck into a 500g matured prime rib steak on the bone and Vineyard-specialty chunky french fries, all smothered with a three-pepper, béarnaise or field-mushroom sauce. With health in mind, either vegetables or a side salad are provided as an accompaniment, not forgetting the 440ml micro-brewed beer while stocks last.
Additionally, those families wishing to extend the spoiling to an overnight stay, can take advantage of the stay three pay two special, which includes one complimentary steak-and-chips meal and a beer - just for dad.
Although Father's Day is traditionally celebrated on a Sunday, the Vineyard Hotel has extended the duration of this special from Saturday, 14 June until Monday, 16 June, when kids will be able to join their dad for lunch as they celebrate Youth Day and a day off school. Guests may choose to sit in the Square Restaurant, or in fine weather outside on the Garden Patio.
