Artist DinnerA monthly dialogue for artists of all art forms with a primary focus on contemporary African visual arts. Theme : an international perspective on robust art economies and the art of barter It was lovely having you the last time so please come through! We will also be exploring practical innovation, and collaborative effort, amongst African artists and art practitioners, for the purpose of driving personal and collective interest. Panellists for the discussion include: 2. Faya Uman Teekay, Soweto based musician and art activist, who will be sharing insightful dialogue about the value of trade exchange and bartering, for independent producers of art. The event will also include a summary and development strategy based, on the past edition of the Artist Dinner - The future landscape, of contemporary African art.
