Hansa Pilsener Dreamer's Celebration

The beer brand that celebrates South Africa's Dreamers and doers is gathering the cream of the local music industry for a concert marking the country's 20 years of freedom.

In partnership with record label Kalawa Jazmee and Metro FM, Hansa Pilsener is proud to announce the 12-hour Dreamers Celebration to be held on Saturday, 10 May, at Ubuntu Kraal in Soweto.

Kalawa Jazmee has been at the forefront of local music since the 1990s and will be marking 20 years of supporting various Dreamers that are now iconic acts in the country today. Artists taking the stage during the Dreamers Celebration include legendary Oskido, Thebe, Trompies, DJ Vetkuk vs Mahoota DJ Zinhle, Uhuru, DJ Naves and Sphe, Fistaz, Lulo Café, and many more.

The four Hansa Dreamers featured in their own TV adverts will host their own lounge areas at the concert. Event-goers will have the chance to meet the faces behind these small businesses - Caprivi Lounge's Hlogi Makau, Fury Custom Bikes' Ruan Vermeulen and Robert Nicholls, The Blackanese sushi restaurant's Vusi Kunene, and Soweto Outdoor Adventures' Kgomotso Pooe.

One lucky concert-goer will win a custom motorcycle from Cape Town's Fury Custom Bikes during the Dreamers Celebration, and there will also be smaller spot prizes such as fedoras, aviators and custom All Stars to be won. Concert-goers who tweet from the event will also stand the chance of winning a prize.

The Hansa Pilsener Dreamers Celebration is not open to persons under the age of 18 years.
