Business unusual: Ikasi Experience
The DJ pair and founders of Ikapa Live, Loyiso Mdebuka and Vincent Manzini, will host the 7th edition of the infamous Ikasi Experience.
The Ikasi Experience is a township based market that celebrates the local culture and entrepreneurial spirit of South Africa's populaces. It provides a platform for trade and economic growth in a safe, entertaining and engaging environment.
The Ikasi Experience aims to formalise trade and transaction taking place in the townships with the main objective of creating and promoting a culture of celebrating all things good about the township.
The benefits for young people attending will include, among other things, empowerment of youth entrepreneurs with useful business tips, growing and building longstanding relationships between local entrepreneurs and consumers as well as an opportunity to mingle with their favourite celebrities while enjoying a different vibe altogether.
