3D printing workshop
See 3D printing in action, learn how it works and design your first 3D object with Sketchup.
Join Curiosity Campus on Saturday 12 April for a deep dive workshop on 3D Printing.
We'll teach you:
- How 3D printing works
- What's being done with 3D printing in different industries
- How to design 3D objects using open source software
- How to prepare your designs for printing
We'll also have a Makerbot Replicator 2 operating on-site, so you can see this fantastic technology in action.
This workshop is suitable for artists, designers, engineers and just about any one who wants to 'make' something. The only requirement is that you have a laptop.
