More on the entertainment for the day - The Rudimentals and The Rescu The Rudimentals The eight-piece ska/reggae band hails from Cape Town and has released two CDs and one live DVD/CD combo. The group is one of a handful of Cape Town reggae-influenced bands, and has been described by some as a South African institution. They continue to perform at all top South African events and festivals and have gathered a huge following and built up a solid reputation for great live performances. The Rescu The Rescu is a three-piece rock band from Cape Town. Their mission is simple: rock the crowd with a big sound from start to finish and have a whole lot of fun doing it! The band's sound has evolved since their inception to incorporate a tasteful bouquet of alternative and classic rock influences. There is an edgy familiarity about their music.
