Introduction to People CMM
This three-day course introduces those who are involved in improving workforce management practices or managing technical professionals to the People Capability Maturity Model (People CMM), Version 2.0, its fundamental concepts, and the value it can bring to organisations using it.
The People CMM is a framework that organisations can use to attract, motivate, and retain talented technical staff. The practices in the model help an organisation be an employer of choice and ensure that the staff has the competencies and capabilities to achieve an organisation's current and future business objectives.
The course is composed of lectures and class exercises with ample opportunity for participant questions and discussions. After attending the course, participants will be able to understand the practices described in the People CMM Version 2 Framework and how these practices can be used to improve the workforce management capabilities of their organisation.
Participants will also be able to describe an organisation's ability to develop and evolve its workforce at each maturity level.
All the JCSE's CMMI instructors and appraisers are accredited with the CMMI Institute, and all CMMI ratings performed locally are registered with the CMMI Institute.
