This is a Conference with a difference. Against the backdrop of a resilient global financial crisis, Regent Business School is hoping that in confronting the major challenges of globalisation, global recession and sustainable development, particular attention will be given to possible strategic, appropriate and innovative solutions to re-position African and other emerging economies in a favorable light. In this respect, we at Regent Business School believe that a south-south dialogue needs to be specifically explored in a quest to re-imagine business, economic development and our academic understanding of the complexities involved.
