Procurement/Supply Chain/Logistics Summit

The Zimbabwe procurement, supply chains and logistics summit (ZPSCLS 2013) seeks to provide an industry-led platform designed to examine contemporary issues impacting sustainability of supply chains and logistics management industries in Zimbabwe and regionally.

AFRICLAN and Frmb Consulting are set to host the Zimbabwe procurement, supply chains and logistics summit on the 3rd & 4th of October at the Cresta Oasis Lodge, Harare. According to the business development manager at Africlan conferences the organizers of this summit Mr Gift Mashingaidze (MCIPS) said "The Conference gathers experts and representatives from industry, academia and government to openly exchange ideas, share latest research developments, experiences and strategy forward to the procurement, supply chains, transport and logistics industry".

ZPSCLS 2013 has been carefully and thoroughly designed using case studies from supply chains of leading brands and governments in Africa. When gauged for comment one of the delegates a marketing executive at a mines equipment Distribution firm in Johannesburg said that her company has put this summit top of their priority list for business development and networking as they have a variety of products they would like to introduce to the Zimbabwean retail and mining markets.
