This workshop provides delegates with a brief overview of the world of project management. It covers basic PM concepts including PM de?nitions, PM life cycle, types of organizations and who the project stakeholders are. It also covers four of the nine
knowledge areas in enough details for the participants to be able to use them in planning their projects at their work place, including integration, scope, time, and cost management.

Today, in addition to the regular duties of your job, you are often expected to take on extra assignments - and to get that additional job done well, done under budget, and done on time. This one-day workshop will familiarize you with the most common terms and the most current thinking about projects. You will learn the fundamentals of project management: how to initiate, plan, and execute a project that meets objectives and satisfies stakeholders.
