This event is an ethical approach to invest in our communities, within the corporate social investment framework for mining companies.
The aim of this African conference is to identify and award companies who have created outstanding models of sustainability and who have expressed their commitment to sustainability by investing in social and community development initiatives with respect to their Corporate Social Responsibility practices. Our feedback steams from 187 state level leader in 23 countries and 421 mining companies.
The Award for Best Practices is the only continental event where world leaders, African leaders, business leaders come to talk - and listen. They will all come to Awards for best practices to make their mark and present their thoughts. Sharing one thing in common - a commitment to resolving the challenges in our communities - together they will illuminate the debate, explain the issues and offer real solutions this time. So, capturing their unique personal perspectives and inspirational stories is what this award conference stands for.
