Nedbank Green Mile Comrades Maraton spectator spot

Located 26kms from the finish line, the Nedbank Green Mile Spectator Spot is the only official race viewing area for the 2013 race and will be open from 08h00.

Spectators visiting the Nedbank Green Mile Spectator Spot are encouraged to either bring their national flag on the day, to dress in green and gold to show support for South African athletes or to wear their home country's national colours.

The entertainment programme is packed with live bands and two DJs. Other live performances will include dancers, a steel drum and marimba band, Scottish bag pipes, the Sharkettes and a troupe of drum majorettes, not to mention cheerleaders. Proceedings will be MC'd by Katego Maboe from SABC3's Expresso show, and the entertainment line-up will run from 09h00 to 14h00 on race day.

There is no charge to gain entry to the Spectator Spot, which is open from 08h00 - 14h00 on Sunday, 2 June 2013. Ample parking will be made available with car guards on hand to direct traffic.
