Preventive Maintenance Programmes
The aim of any Preventive Maintenance (PM) programme is to effectively stop random breakdown maintenance and move towards the development of scheduled routine maintenance.
In principal, the theory sounds easy...but research has shown that many maintenance departments struggle to get it right.
It has also been proven that more than 30% of all maintenance tasks are quite simply a waste of time for your operators, tradesmen and equipment and this puts a drain on your maintenance resources and budgets.
So, this training course has been researched and developed with one aim in mind - to bring you the very latest and best practices in improving your Preventive Maintenance (PM) practises.
The methodology used is based on action-learning and is highly interactive in nature.
Each module will consider in detail the application of how what you have learnt can be applied in your own maintenance environment.
At the end of this training course, you will be able to effectively apply all the tools and techniques learned to either develop a cohesive and comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (PM) programme or to re-engineer an existing programme for increased results and uptime.
In order to maximise the learning experience, we ask each Course Participant to complete a self-assessment tool which will focus on all of the aspects of your current asset management practices as well as on the position that your PM programme plays in overall equipment health.
