World Belly Dance Day
On 11 May, be prepared to shimmy your way into the Brightwater Commons.
World Belly Dance Day will take centre stage between 12pm and 3pm and promises to be lots of fun for everyone.
Come enjoy spectacular performances by some of Gauteng's top belly dance studios. Workshops will give interested parties the opportunity to learn a little bit more on the art of belly dancing, and get moving. To participate in two workshops and the shimmython the cost is R50.
You will have the opportunity of learning from South Africa's very own Shimmy Queen, Bhana, and also meet the newly crowned Miss Belly Dance SA 2013, Bianca Pieters. Join in the World Belly Dance Day Shimmython to see if you can "out-shimmy" the Shimmy Queen.
