Diversity and Employment Equity Training
This 2 day Unit Standard Aligned course will equip your managers and EE Committee members with the necessary knowledge and skills to meet all the legislative requirements of the EE Act and begin the process of building a culture that values diversity.
After the programme, delegates should be able to:
• Develop a common understanding of the business and moral reasons underpinning the Employment Equity Act and the related key concepts • Understand the implications of the Employment Equity Act for Consultation Committees and the key functions and responsibilities of Consultation Committees • Provide a meaningful contribution as members of a committee, through the understanding of essential skills required for consultation and meeting processes • Consult constructively with all staff on the drawing up and implementation of Employment Equity plans
