Yonatan RazelJewish Musical Sensation, Yonatan Razel on stage in SA for the first time American-born Israeli singer, writer, composer, musical arranger and conductor, Yonatan Razel will be performing in South Africa at Gold Reef City's Lyric Theatre for the first time for one night only on 13 February, 2013. Razel, who has gained critical acclaim for his music, has a huge following among the Jewish community in South Africa. His performance will include music from his award winning debut album "All in all" and his recently released second album "Katonti" that has rapidly raced to the top of the Israeli charts. The multi-talented performer has a unique ability to enthral audiences and the evening promises to be a special one. Razel was born in New York but moved to Israel at a young age with his family. While it was in the synagogue that he first grew to love music, there is no doubt that he was also influenced by The Beatles courtesy of his parents as well as his grandfather's talent for classical music. A consummate performer and musician, he plays several musical instruments. Razel also studied conducting under the legendary Mendi Rodin and is a sought after conductor having lead the Israeli Chamber Orchestra and the Ra'anana Symphonette.
