Buckle up for the laugh of your life…Gold Reef City's Lyric Theatre brings together two of the most popular South African comedians under the directorship of comic genius Krijay Govender for the hilarious show Buckled - a laugh a minute journey about two young love birds played by Leeanda and Meren Reddy). The show, which takes place on 8th and 9th February, follows the trials and tribulations of former school friends Yash and Shalendran en route to getting 'buckled'. Along the way they encounter several colourful characters: the street-smart grandmother, drunken uncle, cook and photographer and meddling mother. Leeanda Reddy is well known for her role as Priya in the popular soap opera Isidingo and Meren Reddy has appeared in the television sitcom City Ses'la on SABC 1. Both have made a name for themselves in the comic arena appearing in '150 years & Still Laughing'; 'Old School' and 'Queens of Comedy'.
